Child/Youth Program
For both the preschool and school-age populations.
I will work with the child and the parent(s) as a team and “coach” them through any of the following issues:
- Articulation disorders (omitting, substituting or distorting sounds)
- Phonological disorders (predictable or patterned sound errors)
- Stuttering
- Language difficulties (comprehension and expression)
- Voice disorders (volume, pitch, hoarseness)
- Autism
- Childhood Apraxia of Speech
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Hearing loss and subsequent communication concerns
I can offer tailor-made Parent programs for those individuals who want to complete a treatment program at home. As well, I can hold a Hanen Parent Training program, “It Takes Two to Talk” for those wishing for a more extensive and interactive way to help their children communicate.
Speech-Language Pathology services are covered by many medical plans; receipts will be given for each session attended. I can also help you secure funding from the At Home program, Autism Funding Unit or other charitable organizations.
