My program continues where traditional ESL programs leave off.
Compton P-ESL stands for “Pronouncing English as a Second Language”.
After an individual has learned English, often an accent remains that makes a person difficult to understand. My program continues where traditional ESL programs leave off.
An initial evaluation is completed to identify the accented sounds that a client makes and how they vary in pronunciation from American English. A customized program is developed to address each client’s needs, whether it be a regional or foreign accent.
I reinforce the newly acquired speech sounds with practice in words and then eventually conversational speech, both in and out of the office setting.
This can be done individually or in a small group or corporate setting.
Speech-Language Pathology services are covered by many medical plans; receipts will be given for each session attended. I will travel to your home or office if necessary.
